Life hasn't turned out how I planned, but it's still good. I never expected to be an author, yet, here I am!

When the pandemic hit, I found myself looking for a new career. I was already writing fanfiction and personal stories, so I decided to learn how to write full novels. It's been an adventure and a steep learning curve, but by the end of 2020 I wrote a couple of books. Now I'm enjoying writing books of adventure and romance, love and nature.

What do I do when I'm not writing? So many things. I love to make things, whether it's art or yarncrafts. Gardening is another hobby, both indoors and outdoors. We get long and cold winters, so grow lights are my friend. Oh, and video games. Who doesn't love an epic adventure? Mostly you'll find me outside where the wild things are.

I do not use AI in any part of my writing. All my books are written entirely by me. The joy of being an author is in the writing and imagining new worlds and possibilities. Even when I research information to make my books more real, it's not done with AI. Do I have anything against it? Just the usual concerns anyone has with a new technology. I simply enjoy writing. It's a craft that takes time to learn and there are no shortcuts if I want to truly be a writer and author.
